Engine Oil

Change your oil regularly. One of the ways can keep your vehicle in top operating condition is to change the engine oil as outlined in your Nissan Recommended Maintenance Schedule. Oil lubricates the moving parts of your engine, preventing harmful metal to metal contact, minimizing friction, and carrying away excess heat. By doing these things, your engine operates more efficiently, providing an increased performance and fuel savings, keeping your vehicle running smoothly.

Oil Filters

Technology in design and manufacturing set oil filters apart. Genuine Nissan filters include an anti-drainback feature that keeps oil in the filter when the engine is off, ensuring immediate lubrication at startup. Their high-quality, clog-resistant paper, with up to 30% more surface area, removes impurities more effectively. These features make Genuine Nissan oil filters a reliable choice for protecting engine life, even in demanding driving conditions today.

 shocks 20 26 20 struts 20 new 20 new

Shocks & Struts

Shocks and struts help control and stabilize your vehicle by keeping the tires firmly on the road. They manage spring movement to prevent bottoming out over potholes and reduce excessive rebound, improving handling. When worn, they greatly reduce stability during cornering, braking, or driving over dips. Without properly functioning shocks and struts, the vehicle would bounce excessively, increasing fatigue and making everyday driving dangerously unsafe for drivers.

In-Cabin Microfilter

Most Nissan vehicles are equipped with and in-cabin microfilter that filters out dust, pollens, sand, bacteria, cigarette smoke and other airborne particles. A dirty in-cabin microfilter may restrict air-flow volume and cause a drop in the overall performance of your heating and cooling system. Replace your in-cabin microfilter every 18 months or 24,000 km.

brake 20system 20new

Braking System

Be familiar with the braking system your Nissan uses, such as disc or drum brakes, ABS, etc. If you're unsure, ask your Nissan dealership, we can help. With ABS, you don't need to pump the brakes, apply steady, firm pressure to stop safely in most situations.

tire 20rotation 20new

Tire Rotation

Regular tire rotation helps extend the overall lifespan of your tires by promoting even tread wear. During the service, each tire is carefully inspected for signs of wear, improper alignment, correct inflation pressure, and any potential steering or suspension issues that could affect performance.

Did You Know...

Alignment

Cars that are out of alignment cause the following concerns for the driver:

  • Premature wear on tires reducing their life span
  • Poor performance and handling on wet or snow covered surfaces
  • Reduced fuel mileage due to scrubbing effect while driving

FACT: 75% OF CARS on the road are out of alignment due to the condition of the roads we drive on. For the small price of an alignment annually it could save you a lot of money in the end.

Power Steering Flush

Like any fluid, power steering fluid wears down and gets dirty over time. Changing the fluid before it changes color is better for the system because once it turns color that means it is picking up particles of worn components.

This fluid works under very high pressure as well that creates heat and degradation of the fluid. Fresh fluid replenishes the protection qualities of your fluid so as to prevent premature wear on internal components.

Brake Fluid Flush

Brake fluid is susceptible to moisture contamination. Moisture in your braking system can do damage to hi tech internal components of your ABS braking system as well as your regular braking system by means of corrosion.

Your brake fluid cap is open to the atmosphere for venting; this is where the moisture comes from. The fluid is also subjected to high temperature during braking. It can also lower braking efficiency due to the lowered boiling point of the fluid creating the risk of brake fade. Brake fluid should be flushed every two to three years, regardless of mileage, to prevent these concerns.
